How
Does This Program Work?
TVCS/Kroger Gift Cards are now available from Teays
Valley Christian School. They are easy to use and work
just like a debit card. The cards will be purchased from
the school for $5 each; you can then spend this money at
your favorite Kroger store. When you have used up the $5
on your card, you take it to the Customer Service Desk
and recharge your card by using your cash, check, debit,
or credit card to prepay an amount of your choice. You
can even do this at your convenience at the checkout
aisle!! Simply put your Kroger Cares Program Gift Card,
along with your method of payment in front of your
purchases as you go through the checkout. Prepay the
checkout clerk to load your card with the amount of
money that you estimate your total will be. Don’t worry
if your estimate is off, you will be given the remaining
balance on your gift card to be used another time. If
you didn’t put enough on the card, you simply pay the
rest of your bill with cash, debit, or check. Proceed
with your checkout, using the gift card to pay for your
purchases. Yes, it’s that easy!

How Does This Benefit the
School?
You can recharge your card with a check, credit/debit
card or cash. When money is added to your card, it will
be placed into an account at the store designated for
Teays Valley Christian School.
A statement will be run every 4 weeks to let the school
know how much money has been placed in our account. If
it is $5000 or more, our school will receive a check for
5% of the amount. If $5000 has not been reached, our
balance will be rolled over into the next 4 week period.
After we have reached the $5000 mark, we will receive 5%
of every dollar that you spend! As long as our school
families recharge their cards, we will continue to
receive a check every 4 weeks!
How Many Cards Should I Buy?
Because the gift card is good at any Kroger or Kroger
affiliate, you can even purchase cards for relatives.
Buy a card for mom and dad—even those teenagers at your
house who are so eager to run errands now that they have
their driver’s license!
The beauty of this program is that you don’t have to
make any real effort at all, but you get the
satisfaction of knowing that some of your grocery money
is going to help students at TVCS fulfill God’s purposes
in their lives...and all you had to do was shop!
